Funnily enough, my grow beds are the only place in my garden where the stinging nettles grow.
You’d think I’d be ripping them out from the get-go, but I love nettles! They feed your garden, and if you use them right, they feed you.
Pick the leaves, fry ’em up in some butter with some garlic, then add some chicken stock and double cream for a gorgeous soup!
It’s a great source of iron, vitamins A, B, C and K, calcium, magnesium and potassium. If you’re looking to boost your intake without using supplements, have a nettle patch at the ready. It could be one of the best moves for your overall health.
